A good ship cost a lot. You can make enough for it us two mean:
You can rob caravan. You can sell the robb goods the closet island.
You can engage in peaceful trade. The price for the goods on different islands is quite a lot different. Th is why mo of the time peaceful trad is quite a lot more profitable than robberie.
