Overview: Many Samung device store a flash counter th keeps track of how many time you have flash *custom* firmware to your device. On some device, a yellow triangle or other sort of visual warn is alo display dur boot if you are runn a *custom* firmware.
TriangleAway was built do disable the triangle (if a visual warn is preent) and reet the custom ROM flash counter to 0. T app require root !

You can find the current stus of your flash counter and firmware ste (custom or official) by boot into “download mode” on mo device. The usual way of gett into “download mode” is by firt turn off your device, then turn it on by pres and hold volumedown+home+power. Alternively, the “adb reboot download” command alo often work.
When you run TriangleAway, if your device and firmware are support, it will show you the detect ste of the binary (custom or official) and flash counter value, and the option to “Reet flash counter”. Please confirm th the informion shown is correct before reett the value.
On a number of device, TriangleAway can work, but your firmware may not be support directly. In th case, the app will tell you it eds to reboot into a special boot mode, which will be happen if you select “Reet flash counter”. The device will reboot into a special mode which will allow you to review the current stus and reet the binary and flash counter value (or abort and do noth).
!!! THIS IS A DANGEROUS OPERATION AND COULD POTENTIALLY BRICK YOUR DEVICE. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK. A USB JIG IS PREFERRED IF YOU HAVE A WORKING ONE !!!
( and by brick I mean brick – only a board replacement or a JTAG unit will be able to save you, don’t mes with boot(loader) stuff unles you *really* mean it! )
Note#1: us Triangle Away may unmount your SD card. Reboot or manually remount it from Andro sett.
Note#2: on the SGS3, the “system modified” stus can only be reet on some firmware.

Whether or not Triangle Away work depends largely on your kerl. Flash a different kerl may make it work if it previously didn’t.
Variant th are NOT bas on Exynos procesor but rher on Qualcomm or Nvidia procesor are NOT expect to work. I hotly would NOT try (until further notice) – example are the Skyrocket and AT&T Note.
